Creative Circles Empowers Cultural Managers Across Egypt

The fourth edition of “Creative Circles” provided training to cultural managers in the governorates of Assiut and Sohag. Yesterday, the winning teams of 5 projects as well as the trainers and experts were applauded in an event under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Heno, Minister of Culture, and in the presence of Ambassador Angelina Eichhorst, Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt, Professor Dr. Ashraf El-Azzazy, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Culture, Professor Miguel Grajales, Director of Cultural Programs at the Spanish Cultural Institute, members of EUNIC and Professor Dr. Hesham Azmy, former Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Culture and Head of the Egyptian Authority for Intellectual Property. Creative Circles is a training programme, funded by the European Union, organised in partnership between the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) and the Supreme Council of Culture – Ministry of Culture, Egypt. Cultural managers experience increasing opportunities and creative industries are being promoted across all governorates in Egypt.
