The Association for the protection of Jabal Moussa (APJM) is pleased to announce the launching of a call to award grants for local guesthouses and bakeries in Lebanon, as part of CROSSDEV project.
The objective of the call is to improve the hosting service such as guesthouses and traditional bakeries in the following villages surrounding the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve (Lebanon): Qehmez (Qbeleh and Broqta neighborhoods), Nahr Ed Dahab (Mchati neighborhood), Yahchouch (Snawbar neighborhood), Al Iibri.
The value of the grants ranges between $500 (approx. €430) and $3,000 (approx. €2,600). Deadline for submission of applications is 10 November 2021.
CROSSDEV strengthens and enhances sustainable tourism practices, emphasizing common heritage and resources. Specifically, the project intends to increase touristic competitiveness and attractiveness of less-known destinations and rural/depressed areas, adopting the Cultural Routes concept in selected areas of 4 countries: Italy, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.
