EBRD appoints new Head of Lebanon

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has appointed Khalil Dinguizli as the new head of the Bank’s operations in Lebanon. Based in Beirut, Mr Dinguizli will assume his role on 1 September 2021, succeeding Gretchen Biery.

He will be responsible for the EBRD’s investments and operations in the country and report to Philip ter Woort, the Bank’s Director for the Eastern Mediterranean region.

Mr Dinguizli said: “I’m honoured to take this responsibility and to continue the work that has been done in Lebanon, supporting the private sector and helping the economy in these challenging times.”
