The EU-funded Technical Assistance regional Programme Med Dialogue for Rights and Equality published a video titled “ Ecological Challenges in the Eyes of Mediterranean Youth” which provides an overview of the ecological challenges that the Mediterranean region is facing today and what role the Civil Society can play in addressing them, from the perspective of young activists who took part in the Med Dialogue Fellows Bootcamp on the theme, which was held from 27-31January 2020 at GDA Sidi Amor in Tunis.

The Bootcamp “Addressing the Ecological Challenges in the Mediterranean” hosted 30 young civil society leaders, who are committed to tackling specific Mediterranean policy challenges beyond their national borders, and who were selected through an Open Call for Interest from 10 Arab countries. The Med Dialogue fellows Bootcamp focused on enhancing young leaders’ capacities to strategize, cooperate together and advocate for rights and equality in the region.

Med Dialogue for Rights and Equality is a 3-year (2019– 2022) EU-funded Technical Assistance regional Programme with the overall objective to strengthen the role of CSOs active at the regional scale, in building sustainable development, regional cohesion and resilience, as well as in influencing policy-making in the Southern Neighborhood and the Euro-Mediterranean Space.
