EU Jeel Connectors in Egypt continue to bridge the gap between young people and life-changing opportunities supported by the European Union.

Mina Fangari, EU Jeel Connector from Egypt, led Erasmus Secrets through an interactive Facebook Live session that reached more than 2,000 young people across the country. The event featured staff from the Erasmus national office and alumni who shared practical advice and personal experiences. Participants gained valuable insights into programmes such as Erasmus Joint Masters, Youth Exchanges, Training Courses, and the European Solidarity Corps, helping them better understand how to apply and benefit from these opportunities.

Meanwhile, Malak Hatem, also an EU Jeel Connector from Egypt, launched EUForsa, a pioneering initiative designed to connect students and graduates with EU-funded programmes. The pilot event attracted 150 participants and combined expert talks, interactive workshops, and gamified sessions to present Erasmus+, Erasmus Mundus, the European Solidarity Corps, climate-focused programmes, and EU funding strategies. With over 1,000 applications received, EUForsa has clearly demonstrated a strong demand for future editions.

Through these initiatives, Egyptian youth are not only discovering EU opportunities but also building the skills and networks needed to connect, act, and lead in their communities and beyond.
