Tunisia EU and Egypt launch R&I Week with high-level event marking 20 years of Science and Technology cooperation
To mark the 20th anniversary of the EU–Egypt Science and Technology Agreement, the Delegation of the European Union to Egypt, together with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, will host the official opening event “Paving the Way to New Horizons” on 30 November 2025.
This high-level event will launch a dedicated R&I Week, highlighting two decades of achievements and showcasing new opportunities for cooperation in research and innovation between Egypt and the European Union.
The programme will bring together senior officials, universities, research institutions and partner organisations from Egypt and EU Member States. Discussions and presentations will focus on future collaboration under EU Science and Innovation programmes, including Horizon Europe, the PRIMA Programme, Erasmus+, and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA).
Participants will also explore ongoing EU–Egypt research and innovation initiatives, with a dedicated showcase of projects and exchanges on strengthening cooperation in multiple priority areas.
