On 22 October, the Egyptian Gas Regulator GASREG visited MEDREG in Milan in the context of a study visit to the Italian Energy Regulator ARERA from 21 to 23 October in order to exchange on gas infrastructure and unbundling issues.
Meeting with the MEDREG Secretariat, GASREG delegation led by its CEO Mr. Karem Mohamed, exchanged views on the impact that the Egyptian gas can have on the European markets. The two entities explored how MEDREG’s recent gas reports and upcoming three-year strategy may answer the regulatory needs of the Egyptian.
The study visit ended with a meeting with ENI and with a guided tour of SNAM’s Dispatching Center, the Italian natural gas infrastructure company.
