The EU Delegation to Lebanon launched a new civic education seminar with the municipality of Tripoli and distributed certificates to students who passed English language courses, which were provided with the support of the European Union, with the aim of promoting community spirituality and youth horizon.
“This pilot project addresses some of the key problems in the suburbs of Bab al-Tebbaneh, Jabal Mohsen and al-Gharbia in terms of school attendance, unemployment, lack of communal space and limited dialogue,” said EU Representative Gianandrea Villa.
