The Lebanese University invites all water stakeholders to join the second National Seminar on Wastewater Treatment and Reuse which will take place on 15 February at the Faculty of Public Health of the Lebanese University, in the framework of the EU-funded AQUACYCLE project.
The objective of the seminar is to promote sustainable practices in the circular economy context, with a focus on the safe reuse of treated domestic wastewater by sustainable nature-based solutions and advanced technologies.
The seminar is free of charge but registration is mandatory.
EU-funded AQUACYCLE is set to bring an eco-innovative wastewater treatment technology that will consist of anaerobic digestion, constructed wetlands and solar treatment for the cost-effective treatment of urban wastewater with minimal costs of operation and maximum environmental benefits.
