The National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Business Development Center (BDC), to implement a number of training programs in agricultural fields in Jordan.

The reasons of this cooperation are plenty, as both organizations aim at empowering farmers, agronomists and rural women on new agricultural practices. The goal of the training is the introduction of modern technologies that will develop and modernize the agricultural process.

It will contribute to create and provide job positions, raise the employment levels and self-employment opportunities in Salt & Irbid (provincial areas of Jordan) which lack of new opportunities for low educated people and women.

Last but not least, this action consists of a dynamic start of creating a green entrepreneurship network in Jordan.
