The first forums are held in Tunisia on 1, 8, 14, 16, 23, 27 and 29 October, but many other events are already scheduled in Lebanon, Palestine, Greece and Italy.

Each project partner has been organizing a series of microfinance forums at local level in order to involve main public and private institutions and donors working in the target areas.

The aim of each forum is to design or correct microfinance investment programmes, sharing the results of the previous analysis conducted in the first phase of the project.

The main objective of ‘Med microfinance support system for start-ups'(MEDSt@rts) project is to design a common cross-border strategy in the beneficiary countries (Italy, Greece, Tunisia, Palestine, Lebanon) by providing access to credit for usually non-bankable people, developing an innovative model which can be easily replaced in different environments.
