EU Partners with Egypt in Wastewater Treatment Plant Project

Egypt, the European Union and France partnered for the El-Gabal El-Asfar Wastewater treatment plant Phase III.
The project will serve 17.5 million inhabitants of Cairo until 2040 and contribute to Egypt’s climate change adaptation targets through developing non-conventional water sources for irrigation.
