EUBAM Libya, acting as the main organizer and in partnership with the Libyan authorities , facilitated a two-week training programme titled “Threat Assessment for a Counter Terrorism Fusion Cell”.
This initiative brought together 15 participants from 9 different Libyan CT agencies, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Libya (MoFA) as an observer. They will collaborate and learn from EU Member States experts (from Germany, Spain, Belgium), and discuss international cooperation with EUROPOL and CEPOL.
This collaborative training programme bolsters Libya’s capacity to combat terrorism by fostering enhanced skills, knowledge exchange, and coordinated efforts amongst various CT agencies.
