Civilian Operations Commander Stefano Tomat visited the Libyan-Tunisian border, with the kind support of the Libyan authorities, together with the EUBAM Head of Mission Natalina Cea and representatives of EUDEL.
Libyan authorities offered the delegation a tour of the Raj Ajdir border crossing point, the tower of the Libyan Border Guard under the Ministry of Defence and the tower of the Border Guard of the Ministry of Interior. The visit was an excellent opportunity to discuss the needs of the Libyan partners and the possibilities for the Mission and the EU to respond to these needs.
