TunisiaEUBAM Rafah Took Part in the Global 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence
This year, EUBAM Rafah has taken part in the International campaign against Gender-Based Violence. Mission members have joined this year’s theme “Orange the world: End Violence against women now” and called for ending all forms of violence against women and girls.
Ms. Nagham Khawashki, the focal point for gender related issues at EUBAM Rafah, commented “We in EUBAM Rafah are part of a whole; the Mission is home to members from the bigger EU family as well as the Palestinian community. In our activities, both in-house and with our counterparts at the General Administration for Borders and Crossings (GABC), we ensure gender inclusion and equality in a manner that is consistent with the fundamental values of the European Union.”
