TunisiaThe European Union supports implementation of Authorities for equity, equal opportunities and gender approach in Morocco
With the support of the European Union, the General Directorate of Local Authorities is organizing a workshop on May 8, 2018 in Rabat to assess the needs of local authorities in order to strengthen the process of setting up representative bodies for equity, equal opportunities and gender approach to the regional Councils and prefectures / provinces.
This activity follows up on the diagnostic workshops held in Fes on April 5, in Casablanca on April 10 and in Marrakech on April 13 with all the prefectures and provinces of the regions of Fez-Meknes, Settat-Casablanca and Marrakech-Safi.
The support of the European Union is an extension of its program to promote equity and equality between men and women. This program aims to support the Moroccan state in its reforms in view of reducing gender inequalities.
