The 5th most important country of destination for Jordanian exports is Irak. The new EU-funded project implemented by IOM (International Organisation for Migration) Jordan and UNODC – United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime will address the needs at Karamah, the only crossing point between the two countries.
A delegation from the European Union in Jordan, headed by Ambassador Fontana, visited the site to exchange with the Jordanian authorities and representatives from the private sector on the significance of the project for the Jordanian and regional economy.
