Maria and Sharbel are two young people who are working to empower youth in Jezzine through the Jezzine Hub – a youth-led community center that offers support for innovative ideas that improve the region’s socio-economic development.
The European Union supported the Hub through the financing of rehabilitation works, capacity building and workshops.
The Jezzine Hub strengthens the involvement of youth in the socio-economic development of the Jezzine region. It supports the youth through the organisation of cultural activities and entrepreneurship initiatives, as well as the promotion of social innovations. It also serves as incubator, providing incubation of ideas through mentorship, networking opportunities, and tailored trainings for youth and youth associations.
