EU High Representative/Vice President Josep Borrell is on an official visit to Tunisia on 9 and 10 September.
“I come to listen to our Tunisian friends – authorities and civil society – to better understand the situation in its complexity and to support the Tunisian people in building a sustainable democracy,” Borrell tweeted.
During his visit, EU High Representative/Vice President will meet with the independent bodies as well as with the Minister of Economy, Finance and Investments and with representatives of Tunisian civil society and political actors.
On 10 September, he will be received by President Kais Saied.
Joseph Borrell’s visit to Tunisia is the first in his role as EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs.
