TunisiaFirst Union for the Mediterranean Annual Conference on Water Investment and Financing to be held in Rome
The first UfM Annual Conference on Water Investment and Financing, organised in the framework of the Mediterranean Dialogues (MED), will be held on 5 December 2019 in Rome, Italy. The special topic of the conference is “Public-Private Partnerships and Financial Sustainability of the Water Sector”.
It is aimed at High Level representatives of stakeholders of the Mediterranean Water Sector – ministries in charge of water and their partners, but also ministries of finance and economic development, ministries of foreign affairs, sectoral ministries, sub-national governments, private sector representatives (water service providers, water users, financial sector,…) and civil society representatives.
Launched in 2015, MED has quickly become the global hub for high–level dialogues on the broader Mediterranean engaging prominent leaders of Mediterranean governments, business, civil society, media and academia.
