Companies hailing from French-speaking regions convened in Lebanon for the 4th Economic and Trade Mission. This event was organized in close collaboration with the Lebanese government. Participation in this edition in Lebanon exceeded seventy companies and a dozen economic institutions, representing 27 member states and governments of La Francophonie.
These participants spanned across various sectors, including agro-industry, digital goods and services, sustainable energy, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and sustainable tourism. They had a unique opportunity to engage with approximately 150 Lebanese companies operating in these sectors.
Notably, several of BUSINESSMED’s member employer organizations took an active role in this forum, including ALI, UTICA, and MEDEF. The mission proved to be an exceptional platform for them to explore the Lebanese market and to gain valuable insights into the opportunities it presented in the targeted sectors. This, in turn, facilitated knowledge exchange and the establishment of partnerships with local companies, all made possible through a series of productive B2B meetings and on-site visits to various company locations.
In addition to these interactions, several high-level and thematic sessions were thoughtfully organized. These sessions served as the ideal forum to delve into the international economic landscape, its effects on global trade, and the requisite conditions and mechanisms for conducting business within Lebanon.
