On 13 October (11:30-13:00 CET) as part of the European Week of the Regions and the Cities, the Interreg ADRION and MED and ENI CBC MED will jointly present stories of cooperation supporting green transition across and beyond the European Union.
The workshop aims to highlight our collective achievements reached through networks, thematic communities and clusters in three areas of the EU Green Deal: circular economy, green entrepreneurship, and sustainable transport.
The event will also insist on the importance of synergies and cooperation in order to maximize available funding and the impact of projects for a greener, more sustainable development across the Mediterranean region. GIMED is joining the event thanks to the participation of Ramy Boujdaweh, Deputy General Manager at Berytech, Lebanese partner from the project.
Launched under the ENI-CBC Med Programme, EU-funded GIMED’s main goal is to support entrepreneurs, particularly young and women, to better access to finance and markets in 5 Mediterranean countries: Spain, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia, Egypt and Italy. On the ground, the project will train and coach eco-innovators and encourage financiers to invest in the Mediterranean eco-innovation sector.
