On July 28 and 29, 2025, the Cité de la Culture in Tunis hosted the 6th edition of the Convergences Tunisia Forum, organized by ACTED Tunisia, with the support of Greenov’i. This event, themed “Towards Sustainable, Inclusive, and Green Governance: Actors of Change,” brought together nearly 400 participants to discuss the ecological transition, sustainable development, and social innovation.
During these two days, participants were able to take part in:
Interactive conferences and panels,
Practical and collaborative workshops,
Exhibitions highlighting local initiatives, artisans, and stakeholders involved in the circular economy, corporate social responsibility, and the social and solidarity economy.
The forum also created a space for exchange and co-construction, fostering collaboration between young people, institutions, businesses, and local organizations. Participants were able to share their experiences, develop their skills, and strengthen their commitment to a sustainable and inclusive future.
This edition placed particular emphasis on youth movements and local initiatives, highlighting their central role in promoting sustainable governance and the ecological transition. The projects presented illustrated how social and technological innovation can address the specific challenges of Tunisia’s different regions while encouraging sustainable and inclusive practices.
The Convergences Tunisia Forum is supported by Greenov’i, a project funded by the European Union in Tunisia through the green entrepreneurship component of its “Green & Sustainable Tunisia” program to support environmental action in Tunisia. It is implemented by Expertise France, in collaboration with CITET Tunisia, the Ministry of the Environment, and the Ministry of Economy and Planning.
