Tunisia Inauguration of the Green Park in Medjez El Bab: a new model for youth and community development
The Green Park of Medjez El Bab has been officially inaugurated, marking the culmination of a co-construction process led jointly by the municipality, the Youth Forum, and local and regional partners, with the support of the Fe3il project. Located in Cité El Azima, this modern, accessible, and sustainable public space offers young people a place to practice sports, meet, and take part in community life. The Green Park reflects a shared vision to enhance youth engagement in their local area and to create public environments that foster inclusion, participation, and well-being.
The inauguration showcased the newly developed facilities and highlighted the voices of the young people and partners involved. A full series of photos and content retracing the key moments will be shared soon. The project “Youth Policy and Youth Participation in Public Policies in Tunisia – Fe3il.a” is implemented by CILG-VNG International and VNG International, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and financed by the European Union under the EU4Youth programme, with the contribution of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
