On November 19th, EU Ambassador to Israel, Emanuele Giaufret together with EU member states, hosted a discussion with UNICEF and Save the Children to mark the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).
The event, held at the Ambassador’s residence in Herzliya, focused on the implementation of the CRC in the local context, for Israeli and Palestinian children, and was held in the presence of civil society representatives and the diplomatic community.
Over the coming three weeks, the EU Delegation will mark Human Rights Day, officially celebrated on December 10, by hosting and participating in events to highlight achievements and challenges in the field of human rights in Europe and Israel.
