Zarqa University hosted an information session of the “Japanese Initiative for the Future of Syrian Refugees (JISR)” at the academic corner designated for EDU-SYRIA beneficiaries at Zarqa University.
A total of 50 EDU-SYRIA students attended the information session presented by Nozomi Ohashi and Rawan Salhi. Ms. Salhi provided a thorough description of the Japanese scholarship and the application process that would be useful for students who deemed eligible to apply for the scholarship.
It is worth mentioning that the EDU-SYRIA program, the Japanese Scholarship (JICA), and Zarqa University have been working together for five years and are committed to provide Syrian students in Jordan with reliable information from trustworthy sources.
The “Japanese Initiative for the future of Syrian Refugees (JISR)” offers scholarships for Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon to complete their master’s degrees at Japanese universities. Applicants need to send their application online by Friday, 10 March 2023.
