European Council President Charles Michel, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and the President of the European Parliament David Sassoli met his Majesty King Abdullah II during his visit to Brussels and Strasbourg last week.
President Ursula von der Leyen and His Majesty exchanged views on bilateral relations and regional political and security developments. She commended HM’s leadership role for stability in the region.
The EU restated its support to the economic process in Jordan with a €500 million package.
His Majesty addressed the European Parliament underscoring the need to ensure regional stability and peace through dialogue.
