A new institutional Twinning Programme, funded by the European Union, has been officially launched between the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, through its agency Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI). This partnership in expertise and knowledge exchange aims to strengthen AAPI’s technical capacities, modernise its management and promotion tools, improve investor support services, and foster the attraction of investments that generate value, jobs, and innovation.
Running over a period of eight months, the Twinning marks an important milestone in AAPI’s transformation process and contributes to the implementation of Algeria’s national investment strategy. The programme is part of the strategic partnership between Algeria and the European Union, serving a more competitive, diversified, and sustainable economy built on cooperation, knowledge transfer, and shared development.
