The European Commission has launched a call for proposals for cultural activities in Lebanon with the aim of promoting understanding and dialogue between cultures. The call reference is EuropeAid/152087/DD/ACT/LB and its overall amount available is EUR 120,000.
The specific objectivesof this call for proposals are:
– the promotion of mutual understanding and the rapprochement between peoples through cultural exchanges.
– the promotion of the EU–Lebanon cultural cooperation.
The actions to be implemented under this call should promote intercultural understanding and dialogue between the EU and Lebanon; it can also encourage intercommunity dialogue. Themes such as cultural heritage, youth, people with disabilities, conflict prevention and promotion of particularities of different cities, can also be addressed through any artistic or cultural activity such as music, performing arts, visual arts and audio-visual arts etc.
