EU Ambassador Christina Lassen met yesterday with Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri to discuss the latest progress in the consultation efforts led by the Prime Minister-designate to form a new government. “The continued absence of a government is starting to negatively impact Lebanon’s economic situation and the lives of so many Lebanese”, she said and wished the PM-designate success with his latest efforts.
“The European Union stands ready to support Lebanon in the implementation of these reforms.” said Ambassador Lassen who finally informed the Prime Minister-designate about the preparations for the upcoming Brussels III Conference.
