A workshop on Rural Tourism Statistics will be held in in Beirut on 5 and 6 May 2016 in the framework of the EU-funded Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX).
The aim of the expert mission is to enhance the beneficiary’s skills to collect and analyse data on rural accommodation establishments for an adequate planning and promotion of the tourism sector.
TAIEX is the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument of the European Commission. It supports public administrations with regard to the approximation, application and enforcement of EU legislation as well as facilitating the sharing of EU best practices.(EU Neighbourhood Info)
