On 2 September 2025, a virtual exchange session was held between Tafarroud for Empowerment, a Libyan civil society organization, and Aeon Collective, a Saudi-based interdisciplinary non-profit led by Princess Mashael AlShalan. The exchange was organized under the EU-funded Youth-Centered Dialogue for Peace and Justice in Libya (YCDPJ) project, implemented by CESVI in partnership with Tatweer Research. YCDPJ empowers Libyan CSOs to play a stronger role in advancing peace, justice, and inclusive development by strengthening organizational capacities, fostering strategic partnerships, and promoting youth participation. As part of the initiative, a series of online dialogue and knowledge-sharing sessions will pair each of the twelve Libyan CSOs targeted by the project with regional counterparts, encouraging peer learning and collaboration.

A second exchange was held on 8 September 2025 between the Information and Research Center – King Hussein Foundation (IRCKHF) from Jordan and two Libyan CSOs: Al-Tatweer Association for Scientific Research and Training and the April Health Awareness Foundation. The discussion focused on evidencebased research, community empowerment, health education, and sustainable development. IRCKHF shared valuable insights into advocacy, gender equality, and data accessibility through platforms like HAQQI, while the Libyan CSOs presented their efforts in academic research support, training, and health awareness campaigns. Key discussion points included barriers faced by CSOs in local contexts, strategies for sustainable funding, the role of research in shaping programs and influencing policy, and opportunities for cross-border collaboration. The session was rich with energy, thoughtful contributions, and mutual learning, with participants expressing strong interest in continuing the dialogue.
