August is the incubation month for 16 brilliant finalists from the Green Hydrogen Morocco Camp that took place in Benguerir from 1st to 6th of July. They will benefit from mentoring sessions with international experts to refine their projects. These sessions will culminate in the presentation of their projects before a prestigious jury at the World Power-to-X Summit™ next October 8th and 9th in Marrakech. The best team will win a fully-funded study trip to the renowned FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg University in Germany, courtesy of the MED-GEM Network and funded by the European Union.

The Moroccan finalist will have the immense privilege of receiving mentorship from a distinguished panel of experts in the sector:

• Dr. Samir Rachidi, General Director at IRESEN, Research Institute for Solar Energy and New Energies, Morocco.
• Amine Houssaim, CEO of OCP Green Energy and The Hydrogen Company HYDROJEEL. INNOV’X – OCP Group.
• Dr. Mustapha El Taoumi, Renewables & Green Technologies Senior Key Expert, EU MED-GEM Network.
• Claudio Cinquemani, Entrepreneur and Director of Science & Innovation at the International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Centre, Germany.
• Andreas Meurer, Scientific Researcher at the German Aerospace Center, DLR.
• Dr. Yassine Zegzouti, Specialist in Power-to-X and Climate Change, Morocco.
• Maya Demanati, Regional Director Morocco, Women In Green Hydrogen.

They will be coached by top-tier experts from the GIZ Morocco « Project Launching the Green Hydrogen Sector »:

• Hatim Ksissou, Head of the Green Hydrogen Component, GIZ Morocco.
• Dr. Khawla Dahani, Ph.D., Training and Research Advisor, GIZ Morocco.
• Soukaina Najmoueddine, Technical Advisor on Hydrogen and PtX, GIZ Morocco.
