As part of the deployment of MED-InA in Tunisia, the American University of Beirut, partner of the project in charge of involving entrepreneurship, has selected the Lab’ess incubator to mobilize the creativity and innovation of young local start-ups in the work undertaken by the municipality of La Marsa towards “Zero waste” and the development of the circular economy.
On 14 September, Lab’ess launched a call for applications open until October 14, 2021, for a support programme that will run from December 2021 to March 2022, aimed at eco-entrepreneurs with project ideas or already existing companies, established in Tunisia, in the following sectors:
“A Mediterannean Integrated Alliance on Waste for cities and citizens” project (MED-InA) is funded by the ENI CBC MED program, which aims to develop and roll out a methodology for a “Zero Waste” public policy adapted to Mediterranean cities as an exemplary and participatory approach for waste reduction, reuse and recycling.
