An important business-to-business (B2B) workshop was held in Al-Bireh, Palestine, bringing together a wide range of local stakeholders to discuss, brainstorm and exchange ideas and knowledge on the implementation of best practices related to wastewater reuse as a non-conventional water resource (NCWR). The event witnessed the active participation of around 17 participants from various sectors who enthusiastically engaged in the valuable workshop, which was organised by the Palestinian Wastewater Engineer Group (PWEG), a partner of the MEDWAYCAP project.

Participants represented a wide range of backgrounds and sectors, including private sector actors seeking innovative solutions, academic centers looking for knowledge and expertise, municipalities seeking to help people cope with water scarcity by exploring additional NCWR, NGOs, practitioners and technicians with on-the-ground expertise in the field.

In conclusion, the workshop brought together a range of stakeholders who actively participated in the presentations and discussions. The event highlighted the successful implementation of good practices related to wastewater reuse and emphasised the importance of NCW supply as an additional water source. The knowledge and experience shared during the event will undoubtedly contribute to the main objectives of the MEDWAYCAP project, namely to promote innovation and cross-border cooperation between local and regional authorities and potential financial institutions.
