The publication presents the available data on a range of migration-related fields in a format that is both easy to access and to understand.
The information provided includes the number of people who have migrated, their country of origin and country of destination; the reasons that people migrate; the number of people who applied for asylum in the EU and the outcome of their applications; the amount of development and humanitarian assistance the EU has granted to non-EU countries; the level of integration across EU Member States.
