The Humanitarian Engineering Initiative (HEI) at the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lead Partner of the AIGENCY project, is seeking a Grant Administration and Compliance Expert to provide technical and functional support in compliance management. The AIGENCY project, co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, aims to jointly develop, pilot, and adopt AI-powered transnational solutions to strengthen health systems resilience in the Mediterranean.
The Expert will:
- Ensure compliance with Interreg NEXT MED rules, contractual obligations, and financial regulations.
- Support internal monitoring, reporting, and quality assurance across the consortium.
- Conduct periodic internal audits, spot checks, and cost documentation reviews.
- Liaise with auditors and the Joint Secretariat to safeguard compliance and transparency.
- Deliver training and guidance materials to strengthen partner capacity in compliance and grant management.
