Deputy Head of EUPOL COPPS Katja Dominik said that the Mission is committed to promote gender equality and human rights in all its activities with all Palestinian counterparts.
“For this purpose, EUPOL COPPS has been cooperating with and supporting the Gender Units of various justice and security sector institutions,” said Dr. Dominik at a ceremony held to conclude three sessions of gender training that took place during June 2021. About 40 people participated in the sessions.
The aim of the trainings is to increase the knowledge of the trainees and to improve their skills and techniques to make them capable of developing gender responsive policy papers in their respective areas of responsibility.
Furthermore, the training is envisaged to enable the trainees to design gender indicators to measure progress, and to monitor the implementation process of their activities.
