European Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker and Commissioner Hahn are on a two-day visit to Tunis, (25-26 Octobre).
Yesterday, the President met with Mr Beji Caid Essebsi, President of Tunisia. On the other hand, Commissioner Hahn signed, in the presence of President Juncker, various projects financed by the European Union which will help to support Tunisia in its democratic transition, and to modernise its economy and public policies.
Today, President Juncker had a meeting with the Head of Government, Mr. Youssef Chahed, followed by a joint press conference at 11:30 local time, 12:30 (CET). Then President Juncker will meet a group of young representatives of Tunisian civil society.
