“We need to reach out to all young people, including those at risk of social exclusion and violent radicalisation. If we want to win the fight against youth radicalisation, the direct input of young people is crucial,” said Tibor Navracsics, the European Commissioner for Education, Youth, Culture and Sport.

On Thursday 7 April 2016, the Commissioner will participate in a debate with around 200 young people on “the prevention of youth radicalisation in Europe”. The Commissioner will continue discussing with young people on Twitter, with a “chat” due to take place on Thursday 14 April at 13.30 hours CET (#AskNavracsics), with a particular focus on volunteering and participation in local life.
