The Head of the EU Delegation in Lebanon Christina Lassen and the Lebanese Minister of State for Administrative Reform Nabil De Freij announced this week the launch of thirteen projects proposed by non-governmental organisations in the presence of the winning NGOs.

The projects are supported by the EU-funded programme “Afkar III” and were selected following a call for proposals. They focus on development and reform all over Lebanon, including remote rural regions.

The Afkar III programme (EUR 10 million) promotes socio-economic development and reform, focusing on building the capacities of the Lebanese civil society and encouraging partnerships between its representatives. (EU Neighbourhood Info)
