To enhance work against juvenile crimes, and to support particularly vulnerable persons in Palestine, the Swedish Police Authority, through EUPOL COPPS advisers, donated computers and printers to the Family and Juvenile Protection Department of the Palestinian Civil Police (PCP) on 3 September in Ramallah.
This support aims to boost the work of this key department within the PCP by providing the needed technical tools, essential for handling juvenile crime cases , and crimes against vulnerable people as well as gender-based violence. This will help to manage cases and improve services to vulnerable individuals.
The Swedish Police is keen on improving service delivery to ensure faster, safer, and more effective protection for children, families, and other particularly vulnerable persons in difficult situations. The donation demonstrates Sweden’s strong commitment to promoting child protection, justice, and human rights through international cooperation.
