FASTER has joined the European Bioeconomy Network (EuBioNet), a proactive alliance of EU funded projects dealing with Bioeconomy promotion, communication and support. The main goal is to maximise the efforts, increase knowledge sharing, networking, mutual learning, and coordinate joint activities.

The primary role of FASTER in the network is to raise awareness and enable the diffusion and knowledge about opportunities offered by bioeconomy.

According to Susanna Albertini, the main contact at EuBioNet, the FASTER project can bring to fruition its knowledge on agriculture, water management, and social empowerment.

FASTER (Farmers’ Adaptation and Sustainability in Tunisia through Excellence in Research) aims to reinforce research and knowledge transfer capacity of INRGREF (National Research Institute of Rural Engineering, Water and Forests) related to innovative land and water management in view of climate change and its implementation through the use of Farm Advisory Systems (FAS). This project has received funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
