Tunisia made a strong impression at the Jordan Fintech Festival 2025, held on 24 and 25 September in Amman. The event was one of the region’s main platforms dedicated to financial innovation and the digital transformation of the financial sector. Represented by the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) and the Financial Inclusion Observatory (OIF), the Tunisian delegation presented the country’s experience in advancing financial inclusion and fintech innovation while engaging in dialogue with peers from across the region.

During two days of discussions, participants explored key themes such as fintech innovation and cooperation between central banks, open finance and decentralised finance, cybersecurity and the regulation of virtual assets, as well as women’s leadership in fintech and financial inclusion. Tunisia’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to promoting an inclusive, innovative and interconnected fintech ecosystem built on knowledge sharing, regional cooperation and the co-creation of solutions that respond to citizens’ needs.

This participation took place within the framework of the project Promotion of Financial and Socio-Economic Inclusion (IFSE) and its EDMEJ-GIZ component, co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ Tunisia in partnership with the Central Bank of Tunisia.
