The third Union for the Mediterranean Regional Forum will take place on 8 October 2018 in Barcelona, Spain, under the theme “10 years of the UfM: Building together the future of regional cooperation”.
The UfM Regional Forum will be co-chaired by Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / Vice-President of the European Commission, and Ayman Safadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and hosted by Josep Borrell, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain.
UfM’s mission is to enhance regional cooperation, dialogue and the implementation of projects and initiatives with tangible impact on our citizens, with an emphasis on young people and women, in order to address the three strategic objectives of the region: stability, human development and integration.
