EUPOL COPPS delivery of advanced lenses and cameras to the Public Relations and Media Department of the Palestinian Civil Police (PCP) will enable them to be more effective in delivering their messages to the public, said Nael Shurafa, Deputy Head of PCP Public Relations and Media Department after receiving the equipment at EUPOL COPPS headquarters in Ramallah on 06 August.

The delivery of cameras and lenses and their accessories will be used in several West Bank districts. A professional photographer would provide training on the proper usage of the new equipment.

“Our vision in the police is to produce professional media content that can best convey our messages to the public in a much clearer fashion. This equipment helps us to achieve the goal,” added Brigadier Shurafa.

EUPOL COPPS has been providing support to the PCP, including to the PCP’s Public Relations and Media Department, since the establishment of the Mission in 2006.
