The winners of the “Find the Mediterranean in Your City” Photography Contest 2023, organised by Interreg NEXT MED in celebration of the annual Mediterranean Day, promoted by the Union for the Mediterranean, are announced!
After an overwhelming response from public voting and careful consideration by our esteemed Selection Committee, we are delighted to unveil the outstanding photographers who have skillfully captured the essence of the Mediterranean in their respective cities. The winners are:
- Hamsa Hefny, Egypt. Title of the photo: Traversing Time
- Sofia Aikaterini Karantoni, Greece. Title of the photo: The reedpicker
