The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) is co-organising the ‘Women and Entrepreneurship & Investment programme 2017’, together with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME). The programme takes place from 22-24 November, and is part of MedaWeek Barcelona, a leading business and investment event.
Over 1,000 Economic Leaders are expected to attend, including investors, representatives from the business community, banks, governments, as well as regional and multilateral organisations from both shores of the Mediterranean basin.
In this edition, the UfM, UNIDO and ASCAME, through dedicated forums, B2B meetings and study tours, will promote and facilitate dialogue between women entrepreneurs from both sides of the Mediterranean, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and international partnership and creating new business opportunities.
