On 13 October, and as part of the European Week of the Regions and the Cities, the Interreg ADRION and MED programmes, and ENI CBC MED will jointly present stories of cooperation supporting green transition across and beyond the European Union.
The workshop aims to highlight our collective achievements reached through networks, thematic communities and clusters in three areas of the EU Green Deal: circular economy, green entrepreneurship, and sustainable transport.
The event will also offer an outlook on the 3 programmes environmental-related priorities for the new EU 2021-2027 period, insisting on the importance of synergies and cooperation in order to maximize available funding and the impact of projects for a greener, more sustainable development across the Mediterranean region.
The European Week of Regions and Cities is Europe’s biggest annual event on regional policy. For its 19th edition – under the slogan ‘Together for Recovery’ – to take place fully digital from 11-14 October 2021, more than 300 sessions and online networking activities will focus on Green Transition, Cohesion, Digital transition and Citizens’ engagement.
