As young people continue to showcase their resilience during the COVID-19 crisis, UNESCO is calling on youth in the Mediterranean region to share short videos with their testimonies of what skills they wish to master in the future and which skills they think will be most important in the post-pandemic era.
These stories will be featured in a global campaign to mark World Youth Skills Day on 15 July and some of the testimonies will be posted on the YEM website and compiled in a video for the final YEM Regional Forum.
The YEM project, funded by the European Union and implemented by UNESCO, targets countries in the South Mediterranean region with the aim to support youth employment through improved skills anticipation and assessment systems, and through the promotion of quality and relevant TVET and regional collaboration.
